After a whole semester of commuting and a long road trip down to Los Angeles, I finally washed my car yesterday. It felt pretty good to be able to touch and feel her paint. That along with seeing the end result was a superb feeling. Gave her a full service wash so vacuum, wash, clay and wax.

Looking good!
My baby will get everything I can possibly throw at her in a few weeks. Everything from full paint correction, to wheels off cleaning and polishing, to lots of coats of wax!

Thank you!
That sounds pretty awesome. Post pics when you do! Always love seeing people post pics of cleaned cars. Have you considered laying a layer of wax on top of a layer of sealant instead of the multiple layers of wax? I’ve been doing that lately and the clay bar is just spotless whenever I do get around to claying it (minus a few high dirt areas like the side skirts).

After paint correction it’ll be a layer of glaze, 2 layers sealant, 2 layers paste wax, 1 layer spray wax, 1 layer spray sealant/detail spray.
Will definitely post pics.
What products do you use? Just out of curiosity

Nice! Sounds like your car just shoots water off haha.
I use M105 and M205 for correction. IPA wipe down afterwards then I top it off with a layer of Klasse High Gloss Sealant Glaze and let it cure for 24 hours. Then a layer of Meguiars Gold Class Carnauba Paste.

It’s never enough though haha!
Nice, I’m a Chemical Guys fan myself, but being 16 almost 17 makes it hard to afford all of their stuff haha. I'm working towards it though!
